Dan established RW Capital in 2001 and holds a seat as a Director of the White Family Group. He brings extensive experience in the acquisition, financing and management of investment-grade real estate in a wide variety of asset classes and across the property cycle. His expertise and relationships span the property markets of Australia and Asia, and his clients include significant private interests across the region.
Sean has over 25 years of experience in investment banking, equity and debt capital markets and private equity at Goldman Sachs and Citigroup. He brings in-depth expertise in valuation, transaction structuring, due diligence, capital raising, financial markets, stakeholder management and corporate governance. Throughout his investment banking career, Sean has been involved with, and led, some of the largest and most complex corporate and capital market transactions across Australia and New Zealand. Prior to joining RW Capital, Sean held various senior positions at Goldman Sachs including Managing Director and Co-Head of Financing for Goldman Sachs Australia and New Zealand, Board Member of Goldman Sachs Australia, a member of the Goldman Sachs Asia Pacific Commitments Committee and member of the Goldman Sachs Australia Operating Committee.
Andrew is RW Capital’s Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for managing the White Family Office representing the investment interests of the broader White Family. Andrew was formerly Chief Operating Officer of real estate company, CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) Asia Pacific, and has over 40 years of experience in property and finance.
James joins RW Capital with extensive real estate experience across all sectors. He has worked as a principal in the establishment and growth of the Macquarie Group’s Real Estate Investment Management business where he held the position of Executive Director and Business Head. Throughout his over 30 years of experience in the industry, James successfully led transactions in many aspects of the real estate value chain in multiple sectors across Australia, Asia and the United States.
Stephen has over 35 years of experience in real estate asset management, financing, development, investment banking and chartered accounting, working primarily with the Macquarie Group. He has held various senior positions including Executive Director of Macquarie Group, Global Head of Real Estate and Chairman of Real Estate at Macquarie Group. He has also served as Chairman and Director of related ASX and SGX listed entities. During his leadership, global assets under management (including partnerships) grew tenfold to over $A30 billion.
He was closely involved with the growth of Macquarie’s Asian real estate platforms, including joint ventures with Wanda Group, Munich Re, Pacific Star, Goodman Asia, and Pan Asian real
estate private equity investment through MGPA and Schroders Asia property. Since retiring from Macquarie in 2012, he has been co-investing with and/or advising Australasian real estate companies
Hugh has been a member of the White and Partners board since 2006. He has extensive governance and investment experience in privately held businesses across a range of industry sectors, including membership of Risk and Compliance, and Investment Committees of regulated entities. Prior to 2006, Hugh’s career spanned over 30 years, including 20 years as a corporate tax partner at PwC where he also held leadership roles within the firm.
Steven has over 18 years of real estate finance experience across all sectors including office, retail, hotels, residential, land and industrial industries. He has been involved in major transactions across development and project finance, acquisitions, and refinancing. Steven held various senior roles within ANZ Banking Group’s property division with his last role overseeing the Corporate Property team across NSW, ACT, QLD and NT. During his time at ANZ, Steven was involved in managing some of the largest property groups including various listed REITs, international investors, and private property development groups. Since joining RW Capital, he has become an integral part of the Management Team. He oversees the execution of new transactions, management and oversight of existing investments as well as the legal and compliance functions within the business. Steven is also a lecturer at the University of NSW for the Property Finance and Investment course
David is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and has been a part of the RW Capital team since 2016. He has previously worked with Greenstone Partners in the corporate finance team and Macquarie Capital in real estate investment banking. David’s experience includes financial valuation, deal structuring and due diligence.
Ben has 15 years of commercial real estate experience across residential development, asset management, commercial brokerage, real estate investment and financing, and debt and equity origination. Ben previously worked within the Capital Markets teams at CBRE and Colliers prior to joining the Ray White Group in 2016. Ben has extensive transactional experience across office, retail, mixed-use and residential development sites, acting for a range of corporate, institutional, government and private clients. Since joining RW Capital in 2019 Ben has been responsible for deal origination across the group’s debt and equity businesses and ongoing management of the group’s portfolio.
Matthew joined RW Capital in 2020, having previously worked at McKinsey & Company where he was a management consultant for two years. Prior to McKinsey, Matthew worked for Goldman Sachs’ Securities division in Hong Kong and Sydney. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of New South Wales.
Kevin joins RW Capital from Citigroup where he worked in the investment banking division focusing on mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt transactions.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia.
Dominic joined RW Capital in 2021 with previous experience as the Acquisition Manager for Kinkera Community, a private disability housing provider operating within the NDIS. In the role, he acquired and developed residential properties throughout Australia for individuals with a range of intellectual, neurological or physical disabilities. Prior to that, he was delivering a range of residential and industrial developments with Fiducia Property Group. Dominic holds a Bachelor of Property Economics and a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Management from the University of Technology, Sydney.
Matthew has been Head of International Capital Markets for RW Capital since he joined in 2017. He has 25 years of investment banking and financial services experience, including 18 years based in Hong Kong holding various senior positions covering Hong Kong, China, Korea, Singapore and Southeast Asia. Prior to joining RW Capital, he was Deputy General Counsel at JP Morgan leading the Asia-Pacific legal team in corporate derivatives, structured products and prime services. Prior to that he was the Deputy General Counsel for Bank of China International and General Counsel for Mitsubishi – UFJ Group in Hong Kong. Matthew’s expertise lies in advising on both debt and equity capital raising, restructurings, and financing including arranging sovereign loans and private lending. Matthew is a qualified Solicitor in Hong Kong and Australia.
Joseph is the Financial Controller at RW Capital and White & Partners, and brings with him over 20 years of leadership, financial management and accounting experience. Prior to RW Capital and White & Partners, Joseph was Senior Manager in the audit division of EY. Joseph has a Bachelor of Business majoring in accounting and finance, and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand.
Robert joined RW Capital in 2020, and brings with him numerous years of accounting experience working in the private equity, management consulting and business restructuring sectors. Prior to this, Robert spent two years working in the private equity sector in the United Kingdom, where he was responsible for the investment monitoring, treasury management and fund accounting of the funds under management. Prior to that, he worked in public practice in Australia, with a focus on management consulting and business restructuring. Robert has a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology Sydney and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand.
Prior to joining RW Capital in 2021, Efren spent three and a half years at Nexia Australia working in the Audit and Assurance Division, where he completed financial audits and reviews on various companies ranging from large ASX listed to small not-for-profit entities. Efren has a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology, Sydney and is also a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
Adam joined RW Capital in 2021 bringing with him seven years of accounting experience working with companies such as Herbert Smith Freehills, Australian Turf Club and The Salvation Army providing financial support and solutions. Adam has also worked in the United Kingdom where he developed management accounting skills while working in the construction industry.
Kirsty has been a part of the RW Capital team since 2021. She brings a diverse range of experience from her Executive Assistant roles in real estate, marketing, and construction. Kristy has also worked in the NFP sector across events and sponsorship.
Michelle joined RW Capital in 2022 and brings with her a wealth of experience supporting a diverse range of CEOs, Co-Founders and HNWIs and their families.
Nerida is RW Capital’s Chief Economist and one of Australia’s leading property experts. She brings over 20 years of property research experience to the team and has held senior positions within commercial agencies and major consulting firms throughout her career. Nerida’s stellar industry experience includes holding the seat of Deputy Chair of the Construction Forecasting Council and being a member of the Australian Taxation Office’s Foreign Investment Stakeholder Group. She is also on the Southeast Queensland Housing Supply Expert Panel and provides expert advice on property market conditions to major Government bodies.
Vanessa is the Head of Research for the Ray White Group, working with the White family to grow expertise in the commercial market. Vanessa has over 20 years’ experience in property, the majority of which in the field of property research having worked in senior roles at JLL, CBRE, LandMark White and Knight Frank. Her expertise is across all asset classes nationally, including office, industrial, retail, hotel, residential and special uses such as medical and childcare. Vanessa is known for first to market, niche property research and regularly commentates in the media. Having completed a Bachelor of Commerce in Property Economics and Masters in Property Development, Vanessa was the recipient of the API Young Achiever of the Year award in 2005 and their Meritorious Service Award in 2013.
